Welcome to another edition of the Schmidt Storm. You have questions. I have answers. Let's get

started. The question is, is America better off with Mike Johnson a speaker of the House or better off

with someone new? It doesn't really matter. Here's the deal. The Republicans have an extraordinarily narrow majority.

And the person who is the Speaker of the House, honest to God,

believes that human beings and dinosaurs live together, worked together, walked around together

when the Earth was first made by God 10,000 years ago.

The man is a religious fanatic and fundamentalist who is unfit to be second in line for the

American presidency. He's an election denier and he is a conspiracy theorist with a nice

bedside manner, I suppose. He is as unfit as the rest of them, and all of them

are interchangeable parts, cogs in a machine that serves one purpose, one person, one cause,

Donald Trump. So it doesn't matter. In the end, the divisions, the joints, the fault lines, all the places

where the Maga Coalition connects to its adjacent space is where Democrats need to strike.

So Mike Johnson cannot hold his team together and he's going to be overthrown or it's going to

become close to an overthrowing. Either way, whether he stays, whether he goes, the danger to the

country doesn't diminish or grow. It remains steady. Donald Trump has said he wants to end birthright citizenship. Where do you

stand? So my position is any child who is born on American soil, as is the case under U.S. law

and the American Constitution is a U.S. person, a U.S. citizen. Now, what Trump is talking about

is not crazy. Let's imagine somebody from China who does everything they can to deliver a child

in the United States for the purposes of making sure that child has United States citizenship

really almost as a commercial act. Should they have U.S. citizenship because their mom figured out

how to make it into the United States to give birth? I think it's a legitimate discussion to be
