Welcome today, Awesome Marriage Podcast. Today we are honored to have Mike and Tiffany join us. Mike and Tiffany are friends and

I was honored to get to do their premarital counseling. And so guys welcome. Thanks for being a

part of the podcast today. Thanks for having us. Sure, sure.

So you guys have kind of a different story as newlyweds, and so I want to kind of go

through that.

But let's talk about how back in the beginning, how did you guys first meet?

Well, I was in the military, and her dad was my supervisor in the military.

We were deployed to Germany for four months together, pretty much lived together, spent

almost every waking hour with her dad.

And he had a picture of Tiffany and I used to look at that picture and mess with him and say, I'm going to marry your

daughter one day. He did come home and brag on me, I guess, to Tiffany and tried to get us to meet,

but we were both seeing other people kind of in our little high school relationships still.

And then once those ended, we agreed to meet and went on our first date.

So what did you think, I mean, when you finally met him, what was your impression?

He wasn't at all what I thought my dad would suggest for me.

Didn't look like your typical military boy.

But he was nice and he was funny and he made me laugh.

So that's one of the biggest things for me anyway.
