Let me make a little vow to you.

I will cancel this show before I ever talk politics on this college football show.

But one bit of commentary I do think I can deliver that means a lot as to how big tonight's show is.

Did you notice that there was pretty seismic activity in the form of a man withdrawing himself

from the upcoming election? And he's not even going to address the nation tonight. Why?

Maybe not because he doesn't want to, but because I think the White House is keenly aware of how

big tonight's show is. We're jam-packed high atop a buzzing downtown Nashville, Tennessee. It's

Lake Kick Live Sunday night, July 21st, the year of our Lord, 24. Academy Sports and Outdoors, wind in our sales. Why is this show so big

tonight? Well, it's big because we're doing something we don't normally do. Frankly, I thought

our show sucked last week, and so I thought we needed a little boost. And so we took the needle

and we stuck it in the programming and the rundown, and now all of a sudden we're doing conference championship predictions tonight. Not the last week of August, tonight. We know plenty enough about these teams to talk about it tonight. And I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, well, if you're going to predict the conferences, what about the playoff? You want to do it? Yeah, all right, let's just do college football playoff predictions tonight.

Colin, in fact, I want you to go ahead and just prepare to crown a national champ tonight.

With the understanding, we reserve our right to change our minds throughout the entire month of August,

because as Meemaw once said, that's what God made August for.

We've got week one upset alerts on the show tonight. I've got what ifs. I've got bold predictions.

And we will have thousands upon thousands tune in for none of that because at the end of tonight's show,

or sooner, if I feel so inclined, I am going to deviate from college football for the one time that I do it per year.

And I'm giving you a full review of Twisters, because I saw it

last night. And with bated breath, the world awaits, yes, what I think about that movie. Got a lot

to say. I mean, a lot to say. So yeah, we're doing all that on tonight's show. So, you know,

if there's no addressing of the nation tonight on the political end, it's probably
