Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic Mike Graham right here on talk of radio.

The mists are swirling over the London skyline this morning as the government prepares to convince everyone that they can just about see clearly through limited visibility all the way to Christmas and beyond after a weekend of ridiculous advice from not playing board games at Christmas to shopping in under 15 minutes, like some former supermarket sweep.

We're all heartily sick of the Big Brother approach that Boris Johnson and his henchmen appear to be utilising.

Instead, let us concentrate on the big vote tomorrow, which may or may not pass muster with most of the population.

And we'll no doubt see the large bulk of our representatives in Parliament voting for more lockdown.

Because let's not forget, many people now are in a better place than they will be on Wednesday.

If you move out of this particular lockdown into a tier three lockdown, you're going to be worse off than you are now.

Make no mistake. One thing that's for sure, despite Boris Johnson's promises, it will be a lot worse

for a lot more people. And you can also bet the good old forensic Sekeir Starmer will be going

along with every single bit of it. We'll ask Brendan Chiltern from Labour Party, where it all went wrong.

and don't really make very much sense.
