Conan O'Brien has hosted a late night talk show for 4,000 hours, and by now you'd think he'd be kind of sick of talking.

But he came to our studio in Manhattan and sat down for a conversation that was both fun and thoughtful.

I'd been on a show a couple of times and I ran into him on the street once, so I didn't really know Conan,

but I sensed there was a serious person behind the funny, and I saw how his studio was right at the beginning when he started by flattering me.
