Hey, everybody, welcome to another edition of Rob Observations.

I am your host, Rob Leifeld.

I have been making comics for 37 years, writing them, drawing them, inking them,

producing them, publishing them, yes, even printing them. I come to you with this show

twice a week to talk about my love, my passion for comic books, all things comic books. I've been in

love with comic books since I was seven years old, dreamed of being in the comic book industry,

making cool characters, cool stories. And the great news for a young seven-year-old Robbie Leifeld is we pulled

that one off. We pulled that one off. And whether it's X-Force or Snake Eyes, G.I. Joe, Deadpool,

the Deadpool Corps, Lady Deadpool, Cable, Youngblood, Prophet, Avengeline, you name it, The Avengers.

I have done so many comics, so many stories, and so excited to have shared them with you all.

On this podcast, again, it's all about the passion of the comic books the comic book characters and watching

this in industry this crazy industry expand uh and and and grow and the influence of the

creations and the creators over these last many decades today we're going to discuss something

that that i think you all are very familiar with

because the convention industry, especially in regards to pop culture, has exploded over the

last decade. It has absolutely exploded. Comable conventions, pop culture conventions, you know, very, very specific

uh, science fiction conventions like a Star Trek show, a Star Wars, a Star Wars celebration.
