Hi welcome back to the personality hacker podcast my name is Joe Mark Witt and I'm

Antonio Dodge about a year ago I went to a an event around social interactions.

I'm always learning and growing.

And so as Antonio, we try to educate ourselves

on new stuff all the time.

And I spent a day in a room learning

about different methods and frameworks around social engagement, social

and action when you're talking to people. Now I'm an ENFP in the Meyersburg

system and interacting with people is pretty easy for me. It's a pretty natural experience

that I've done all my life but I continually want to improve my skills and

also we do a lot of teaching a lot of talking on this podcast we want to be sharp in

really sharp for when we show up to help other people in their social

interactions and while I was at this event learning about different social dynamics and social interactions.

The speaker who was actually an ENTP who was teaching from the stage gave a very clear distinction

about something that has stuck in my head since that time and is actually

changing the organizing principle and the operating way that I go through life actually in my social

interaction.

So I learned a huge deal from this and I've

actually shifted how I show up to the world and the distinction that he gave that

day was the difference between a competitive frame and a collaborative frame. Now that statement is a little

loaded because I used the word frame. What does frame mean? Frame is the

perspective or reality or the framework that you're coming to an interaction or to the world from.
