Dear Father, God, I pray that you would make me who you want me to be today.

I repent of putting the focus and emphasis on who I think I ought to be.

God, I apologize for focusing on myself,

and I ask that you would please keep my focus on you

that by fixing my eyes on you I would be the person that you created me to be

and that dear father you would show me where I'm supposed to go and what I'm supposed to do and what I'm supposed to say every day

that you would make my life a prayer to you. I want to do what you want me to do. God, keep me out of the way and do what you want to do through me. Don't let me get in your way.

Dear God, I want to be your hands and your feet, your voice, your ears, your eyes. However, I can be of service

to you today, dear father. And just as I was driving today, I think of Mark Street today.

And I don't know what's going on with him, but I know he had some financial needs.

And I just lift him up to you today, dear Lord.

Meet his needs and do what he can't do for himself in Jesus.

I humbly ask you to please pray with me. Dear Father in heaven, as your word says, we consider

everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus, our Lord.

Father, help us to have the same perspective in our

own lives, treasuring the knowledge of you above all else. We admit that at times we have allowed

worldly distractions and selfish ambitions to pull us away from the path of righteousness. We want to

forget what is behind and strain forward to what is ahead, pressing on

towards the goal to win the prize for which you have called us in Christ Jesus.

Father, we humbly request the strength and perseverance to keep running this race of faith with endurance.

We know that the ultimate prize is the eternal life that comes through Jesus Christ,
