Dear Father in heaven, we come to you today giving thanks.

Thank you for keeping and protecting us.

Thank you for your guidance and direction.

We ask you to strengthen our minds, bodies, and spirits today.

We surrender every area of our minds, wills, and emotions to you. When we are weary, may we be

refreshed. We choose to dwell in your goodness and faithfulness so that the good seeds you have planted in our lives

will take root. We pray in Jesus' name, amen. Thank you for praying along with me, my brothers and

Walking in the Light in Tennessee. We are, what, 10 days into the new year already, and God is still good, watching so much that is happening around the nation, certainly in California with the fires. What a scary situation that is. But what prompted my call was Peter and God smile. I heard you singing in your presence. And it was so beautiful. And it reminded the old Peter Paul and Mary you guys sound like Peter Paul and

Mary I know but I enjoyed it so so much also I wanted to comment on the young

gentleman who talked about alcohol addiction.

I have a son who's, oh, mercy, alcohol addicted and just, it's been horrible.

So I still need your prayers walking in the light in Tennessee.

And everything's not right, but everything's not wrong. So I'm glad to be a part of the

new year and glad to be a part of what God is doing. But I really need your prayers. I find I lose my

temper. I find that I say things I shouldn't say and I'm not making the situation any better.

There's just a refusal to acknowledge the truth and to get help.

So all your prayer warriors out there, please say a prayer for my home, my son, walking

in the light in Tennessee, continually walking in the light.

For if it had not been, for the Lord on my side, where would I be?
