Can one as insubstantial and spirit-like as Mr Harley-Quinn?

Why don't you tell us a little bit about the story that we're doing in its publication history?

With pleasure, the man from the sea was first published in October 1929 in Britannia and Eve magazine, not one that we have heard of before.

And then of course it was published as part of the mysterious Mr. Quinn collection in April

of 1930.

And we will be talking about this throughout the episode,

but eagle-eyed readers will notice that the setting here of the Canary Islands is a place that Christy herself

in fact visited post-disappearance while she was desperately pushing her way through the mystery of the blue train, her least

favorite book that she forced herself to write.

And she did in fact write this short story while she was in the Canary Islands as well at that time,

right after all of the mayhem surrounding the disappearance and the ongoing marital problems that she was having in that moment. the can tell. Yeah, I think so too. We will talk a whole lot more about that as we get into this. So let's talk about our victim, Catherine.
