POD Save the Queen!

Hello and welcome to POD Save the Queen.

I'm Zewi Forsee, your host this week.

We really hope you enjoyed our special episode with Tracy Borman last week. It was fascinating to catch up

with her and on this week's show we've obviously got a huge bumper edition of all the

things that we missed during that week. So we have Commonwealth Day, we have

St. Patrick's Day and of course Ian and Russell are out in the Caribbean with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Now we've tried really hard to make the logistics of the very busy tour itinerary work with time differences but

apart from it Dan and I recording at 2 3 a.m. in the morning it wouldn't quite work and

while Dan loves Poets of the Queen I'm not entirely sure we would have won him over on that one.

So what we're going to do is we're going to do the kind of Commonwealth side of things now.

Then we're going to have a drop in from Russell and Voguegler giving us a bit of an update of what they've done so far the great engagements they've done and then we will kind of catch up on

everything on the tour next week so Russell and Ian haven't actually recorded

their segment to drop in yet so it will be the magic of

Dan's technical like technical editing together and I don't actually know what we're

going to discuss so I can't let you know on that one yet but I'm sure it'll be

brilliant. But for today to talk me through some of the

events that have been happening a little bit closer to home I'm joined by
