What's going on everyone? Kevin here from Epic Gardening. We're back again with

0:05.6

Darrell Chang, the founder of House Plant Journal, and the author of The New Plant

0:10.6

Parent, which is out. It's fantastic and I highly recommend it. So yesterday we talked

0:15.2

about the philosophy of house plant care that Darrell espouses and I certainly would echo

0:22.2

just a little bit more of that deeper level of thinking about the plant

0:25.9

as an organism rather than as an aesthetic piece or almost like a piece of equipment in your

1:30.0

But when we're coming indoors, that is completely the case.

1:33.6

And so that's where we have to really begin.

1:38.9

And so we're going to start with like the physical differences of indoor light versus outdoor.

1:44.9

So you know if someone says to you full sun when you're talking about outdoors, it's assumed that

1:52.3

it means that the sky is completely open to you, right?

1:55.0

For like six to eight hours or whatever.

1:58.0

Yeah, that much, yeah.
