We're going to talk about the 1984 thriller on the third Saturday in October, an option play that won it for the third straight year over Alabama. That's coming up in segment number two. Noah's going to stay on in segment three to go back and look at some of the vaults in the NFL draft vault, if you will, some of the early first-round picks of Tennessee football history that's coming up with the NFL draft this weekend, obviously, coming up in segment number three. But today's show is going to lead off and focus primarily on another lady ball commit. We talked about her a couple shows ago because she was on campus for a visit.

But now it is official.

Kaeline Smichael coming over from Maryland has joined the Lady Volls basketball program.

She becomes the eighth Transfer Portal commit for Kim Caldwell for the Lady Vols.

Lady Balls now have 10 players on the roster,

eight transfer portal commits, two signies, one of which Gabby Minas, who's been there the entire time, was signed on before all the roster overhaul, if you will.

And then Irene Oboado coming over from England, and I know I mispronounce her name.

I do apologize, but she was a former signy for Boston College. That coaching change happened. She was let out. Now she's a signy with the University of Tennessee. So eight from the transfer portal, two from the signing class right now. Lady ball is up to 10 players. Still a couple of slots to go, but, you know, blink of an eye, it feels like. Kim Caldwell has kind of built a brand new team and the latest coming over from

Kaelin Smichael. Really, really good player.

Average 17.2 points per game, shot 35% on three-pointers in four seasons,

six-foot guard. She started her collegiate career at Rutgers, played two seasons

there, played two seasons at Maryland, only played seven games this past year due to undergoing

knee surgery, season-ending knee surgery, and that's how, again, she's able to get a medical

red shirt there, and so she has another year of eligibility. He played seven games as a senior at Rutgers, was a really good player as a junior,

started her career at, excuse me, at Maryland, played seven games as a senior at Maryland,

had a really good junior year at Maryland, her first year with the Terps and then Lady Terps

and then started her career for two seasons at Rutgers.
