other. That took centuries for that. And it was cultural aspects and political. A couple of crusades come down the line. Absolutely. And this is

something that I'm going to dive in. The church saw itself as one. Even after 1054, it very

much thought it was going to repair itself, right? It's not until decades, even a century, two centuries later that people are like,

okay, we really are two different churches.
