Zanzal. Anne-Marie, welcome. Thank you, Guy, for having me. Appreciate it. So Anne-Marie is a coming-out

coach, ordained minister and grief counselor who specializes in supporting individuals, particularly

women, navigating later in life sexuality, divorce, and

identity transitions. A graduate of Yale Divinity School and former hospice chaplain, she blends

spiritual care, group coaching, and lived experience to help clients move toward authenticity,

self-trust, and connection. Through her coaching programs, community spaces, and the coming out and

beyond podcast, Anne-Marie has guided thousands of people building lives that align with who

they truly are. Anne-Marie, wow. Okay, before we get going, share with the listeners where you're

from originally and where you are currently.

I'm originally from Connecticut, but I live in Nashville, Tennessee with my wife now.

Okay. So how the heck did all this start for you?

Well, like a lot of women that come out later in life, okay, let me backtrack.

A lot of times people, when they come out later in life, they come out in about three or four different ways.

One is they fall in love with somebody. That makes them realize they're not as straight as they thought they were.

Two, they have something called a catalyst, which means it's a woman

that it may be requited, unrequited, it may be a movie star, it may be somebody from your office,

but that makes them realize they're not as straight as they thought they are. And then there's like

about 15 to 20% of people. That, and that's me. I'm somebody that realized that I wasn't straight,

probably when I was younger, and it was more unconscious thing. But I consciously realized, you know,

wondered out loud when I was about 23 or 24. Like, maybe I'm not straight. How do I do this? How do I find, you know, how do I find community? And, you know, wondered outlaw when I was about 23 or 24. Like, maybe I'm not straight.
