Hey everybody, this is Rob Leifeld. Welcome to yet another edition of Rob's observations. Once again,

jam-packed show. I mean, it's a happy meal of a show. It's definitely, this is a combo pack

of a show today. We have a lot to actually unpack. We are still living and basking in the

afterglow of just an incredible weekend of comic book standouts between Zach Snyder's Justice

League epic four-hour cut, which I like more and more and more and love more every time I see it.

The standouts to me are Jason Momoa's Ackleman. He's just more, uh, just,

he just has more something. I can't put my finger on it. There's more essence. There's more edge.

I think he's, he's, he's funnier, he's more regal, he's more troubled. The action is way far superior. Again, every time I watch the

Justice League this last weekend, and I've had it on several times. One of the things you've got

understand about me is from the outset of my career, even when I was preparing to get into this

business, I was always drawing in front of, mainly repeats,

movies I'd already seen. That's why HBO Showtime was so great to me. You know, I can,

I can listen to Commando or Die Hard or Star Wars or whatever I've seen before again and again

and no problem whatsoever because I know what's

happening I just hear the dialogue I can look up occasionally and participate but it takes away from

the the silence the silence artists need noise I need noise the guys at extreme studios when

I had extreme studios in the 90s and Danny Mickey and John Sabal shared a really sweet one of the bigger

more spatial offices and they both um you know their their tables were at different points in the

in the building but they would always have movies on uh that that Danny would just play constantly

uh you know you'd walk in and they'd be they'd be watching movies they'd be watching TV shows um so that the noise would would you know just you'd walk in and they'd be, they'd be watching movies, they'd be watching TV shows,

so that the noise would, you know, just, just accompany them as you're just sitting there putting

lines on paper and trying to focus, it just feels better to have some noise accompanying you.
