And I'm really bad at Instagram, which surprises people. And one day, I think Saeed brought you up and talked about you all being friends. And I was like, I love Adrian's work. And I went to your Instagram. And lo and behold, you followed me. And I screamed. And I was like, oh, my God. And then I found out. You're like, she knows. Yeah, I was like she she knows then also she listens to vibe check so it radically radically changed me that was one of the signs along the way that we were walking the right path yeah we're going the right way well it was so beautiful I had a number of podcasts I won't mention that I've been listening to and a friend for each I was like here's something this is a mature version of what

you're looking for and I was like let me check it out and it has been so grounding I mean I just

love the mixture of like culture politics and gay gayness it's just that's my favorite place

yeah when we began thinking of the show and saeed of course as teacher and an artist, I wanted a show that felt like those Thursday evenings at college where a speaker would come.

Like someone you read and you got to see them talk and really get into rigor around like thinking about culture and politics.

So the show is very much about that.

And then you go to the coffee shop after. Yes. You go to the coffee shop, have a muffin.

You can only afford one latte, so you're like nursing it. You're like, we're so brilliant. Just us here in this coffee shop right now. We've got it all figured out. We're going to figure out the world. So, but you embody a lot of that kind of sensibility to me, so that's why I'm just very excited.
