I've been watching the mayor of East Town, the mayor, M-A-R-E of East Town is the name of the show.

On the HBO, the Home Box Office, as you will.

And it is currently my favorite ongoing show since Invincible ended uh talked about that last

weekend uh this is a it's a mini series seven episodes uh i am three episodes in so i was going to kind

do uh i know not technically a halfway check in um but i wasn't going to pause this Sunday's episode halfway through and do a recap on

that. So I'll do a little bit of a halftime touch-in with this show, and then I'll probably do

another full summary after the show has concluded. I'm not sure if this show will tickle other people

the same way it tickles me,

not tickle in like a fun way, but just in sort of this show is my vibe.

I love these sort of shows, detective shows slash small town detective stuff.

And let me give you what the little elevator pitch description of this series is.

A detective in a small Pennsylvaniasylvania town investigates a

local murder while trying to keep her life from falling apart sounds simple sounds a borderline

formulaic right uh similar stuff um i'm not sure if any how many of you have seen the show broad

church um season one excellent uh seasons after that uh I didn't, well, I only made it about

halfway through season two. But thought season one was really, was really an enjoyable watch.
