So imagine multiple hearts who want the same thing, who are seeking revival together,

revived of spirit together, truly seeking God, not hype, things can change in a powerful way.

When Charlie Kirk died, a lot of revival talk started happening.

We started seeing hats being sold with revival on them and revival happening in stadiums. And I want to say up front that I am not a hater. I am not mad about

all of that. In fact, in many ways, it was exciting and it was good. And it was sort of this

groundswell of the Christian community, the faith community that was really coming back to our roots in so many

ways. I want you to know I'm not coming for the revival of the stadiums. I own a hat with the word

revival on it, in fact. But, and yes, there is a but here. Revival isn't a hype show. It isn't this commercialized thing to sort of hold up on this pedestal as something to just promote or hype. It is far more sacred and holy and raw and gritty and serious. And maybe I'm a

little put off by the civilized way that we as Christians have made it out to be. Not only do I think

about people who have lost their lives for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I also think about when you or I are in a place that you need and want God to transform the depths

of who you are or where you've gotten or you're in a place of deep grief or deep longing, or you're at the end of

your rope in your life. You take serious, perhaps the sin that has gotten you to where you are,

perhaps the pain, the brokenness that has gotten you to where you are. And also, desire revival

in your community and church that you know is far

from God. I just think that's not something that you feel very hype about. That's something that

you feel very serious about, something that you feel very convinced and very coming to the end of

yourself about, very raw and even broken about, something that you feel like

getting low about or that you are already in a low spot and seek God about. Now, do I believe that

revival again can happen in a stadium with lights? Absolutely, because God can do anything

anywhere. He can speak to us anywhere.
