I think sometimes when we talk about revival, it can feel like we're describing something that

belongs in a museum or a documentary, perhaps, the early church, the Welsh revival of the early

1900s, the Great Awakenings, Azusa Street, the Jesus Movement. And yes, these are beautiful

moments and powerful stories and certainly impactful things that happen in history, miracles,

mass salvations. But we don't talk about these to put them on a pedestal, to pine for them,

or to archive them, put them in some kind of like box or on a shelf or, you know, just to look at them

like trophies. We look at them to be inspired by what

God did and to remind us of something really critical, that the God who did all of that

isn't just the God of back then. He's the God of right now. He's your God. He's my God. He is the same powerful God
