I love your book because it tackles, you're tackling the topic of empathy, but what

you're really talking about is this bigger topic of how so many sort of Christian values

have been co-opted. values have been co-opted.

Words have been co-opted and manipulated to advance progressive causes and and sort of

twists what the Christian meaning and interpretation of those words are.

And so one of them is empathy.

And the title of your book, by the way,

is toxic empathy, how progressives exploit Christian compassion. Why don't you give us sort of the

thesis of what you're talking about and how you see this playing out in our culture?

Yeah, you actually did a great job of summarizing and kind of rephrasing what the thesis is, is that our good

inclination, as people that especially as Christians to love and to fight for the underdog,
