There are many types of difficult people out there in the world, but there is one type that is the worst of them all.

A person with this one character trait causes toxic and draining

relationships, spreads cancer throughout an organization, killing morale and

team cohesion, and inhibits the personal growth and progress of everybody in their orbit.

What is this character trait? Entitlement.

What makes this trait so insidious is?

The gas lighting and the reality distortion that they create for everyone around them.

takes credit for others' work.

They often shirk their responsibilities

and then blame others for mistakes and failures.

This behavior demoralizes and demotivates teams whose effort go unseen and undervalued.

Entitled team members create clicks or foster an environment of favoritism, further

undermining team cohesion. They lobby for preferential treatment or promotions based on their

perceived self-worth not on merit causing further riffs within the team. Their
