I am happy that this necklace that I have that I got in Tel Aviv, in hostage square in Tel Aviv,

which says, bring them home now, is now officially outdated.

That although there are the remains of some and our heart goes out to those and we're praying

for the returns of the remains as well, but that because of recent events and a truce that has

been signed and a peace accord that has been signed that those hostages have been returned home.

We've been praying for it,

and we just want to publicly say that we rejoice, and we thank God for it.

Colossians chapter 1, Father, we commit the time to you, and we pray that you'd instruct our hearts

as we settle in now to hear the

reading and the explaining of your word to our hearts that we might grow. Thank you, in Jesus

name. Amen. I told you last week that Paul never visited the city of Colossi. There's no record of him going there in the book of Acts. There's really no mention of it in the book of Acts. And we would not even know about Colossi, were it not, I believe,

for this letter that Paul wrote to the Colossians. So since he never visited the church,

and since he never started the church directly, we discovered last week that he started it indirectly,

that there were a couple of men from Colossi who had traveled 80 miles to the city of

Ephesus where Paul spent three years

preaching and teaching in the household of Tyrannus,

speaking, explaining, leading people to Christ,

so much so that in those three years,

it says all those who dwelt in Asia, both Jew and Greek,
