This week, we're in Colorado discussing the state's most prolific serial killer. Then we'll talk about a disgruntled employee.

So buckle up and join us on this dark and twisted ride through the

centennial state. Throughout the late 1970s and into the early 1980s, law enforcement noticed a

disturbing trend. Vulnerable women, usually young, often with ties to drugs or the sex trade,

they were being found in Denver and surrounding areas in Colorado. There were strangulations,

bodies left in secluded spots, but they weren't clustered in one precinct or one clear profile.

At the time, investigators treated all of these deaths as separate.

Crime labs were primitive by today's standards.

DNA was a concept on the horizon, not yet the investigative titan it would become.

So detectives, chase leads, acquaintances, lovers, pimps, drug dealers, any thread that might break the silence,

and while leads came and went, no single murderer was named.

I know.

Victim's families were left with questions, and suspects were dismissed.

The city kept turning and answers stayed buried.

But eventually, one man's name began to seep into interviews, files, barroom conversations, and detectives lists. Vincent Darrell Groves.

So Vincent was born in Denver in 1954.

He was a 6'5 athlete in his youth whose life later derailed into drugs, sex trafficking, and violent encounters

with vulnerable women. But Vincent wasn't on everyone's radar at first. For years, his name
