Summary

A unique podcasting experiment! Because Andrew was too scared to go to Richard's house, which he believes to be rampant with the norovirus on every surface, they decided to record this week's podcast in quarantined conditions: Richard's in his fetid attic, Andrew's in a soundproofed room at the Radio Times office. Neither has listened to the other's half yet. In Richard's half he goes into what might be too much detail about a very dirty weekend away with his girlfriend in Suffolk. Those of a sensitive disposition will surely have stopped listening to this podcast by now, but this might test the mettle of a few of you. He may or may not be critical of his former colleague Andrew Collings' decision to record his half of the podcast in a germ free booth at the BBC. There is only one way to find out. Andrew's half is mainly about films he has seen, which Richard would normally sleep or check his iPhone during anyway, so best left in isolation. This podcast was not done using germ-free Skype, because of the way other podcasts done using Skype have sounded.

Hello my fine friends I've said it before and I'm suspect I will say it again

Andrew Collins is a fucking idiot and you may notice there's no high-pitched whining sound, Mr Bean-style voice coming in here to interrupt me because no, there is not, because for reasons that will become clear.

parts. Me first, luckily for you which means you don't have to listen to the

0:29.8

second 33 minutes and 15 seconds. And then Andrew Collins will be giving his rebuttal. You may think perhaps finally we've had

0:40.7

had enough of each other, this might be a way for the future, but it's not to do with that this time.

0:49.0

Maybe it will be soon, the way things are going.

0:52.0

But this is due to I'm in quarantine

0:55.6

essentially and Collins is too scared to come into my house even though I've

1:01.0

just been out in a cafe talking to the quarantine is redundant.

1:05.0

But so yeah I'm doing a podcast on my own which would mean if it works I might just get rid of

1:11.8

Collins seems to be going right so far that's one minute of

1:14.7

13 seconds of me talking in a way this is much nice

1:18.2

from it's he's not spoiling it and then Collins I'd love to hear him do a podcast on his own and we're going to get the opportunity.

1:26.0

I mean 33 minutes of him on his own without me coming in and being funny.

1:32.0

It's going to be quite a story anyway. without me coming in and being funny.

1:33.0

It's going to be quite a story.

1:35.0

Anyway, in case you haven't been reading my blogs

1:37.0

and in case you want to know what's going on,

1:39.0

essentially it was my birthday at the weekend.

1:41.0

I have had some time off for the first time in quite a while.
