Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night. I'm introducing the final Collins

and Herring tug-well tapes archive recordings. We are here at Part 6. This is it. This is the

end of the available stuff we have to throw out

there and fill the gap while we're not creating any new materials this is very

much old material but not quite as old as last week's and nowhere near as old as

all as the one before that.

So we're looking here at the 7th of November 2009, where Richard and I, even more established

than we were last time we were asked to fill in on six music, are to fill in finally, finally, for Adam and Joe,

Adam Buxton and Joe Buxton, the famous double act who very much made the Saturday

morning slot between 10 and 1 PM their own.

And at last, as if we hadn't banged on about it enough,

they finally let us have a go at it, when they appear to have been ill for a week,

but both of them together.

Pughty suspicious, quite clearly ill for a week but both of them together pretty suspicious quite clearly

fancied a week off. Joe's case probably had to come be wind and dined by awesome wells or something.

So anyway here is Richard and I doing the show for the first time I think I'm listening to it and

thinking we sound a little bit nervous as we kind of should be really I suppose we felt that a lot of people

listening who would not want us to be there because they're expecting Adam and Joe which actually continued long into the

tenure when we finally did get to fill in for them again for slightly longer than one week.

So here we go, me and Richard talking, having a nice old time again. It is lovely to hear two men having such a nice time

Whether you can hear I don't know little portense of the future in there. I don't know
