The Longhorns are the number five seed in this bracket.

Clemson, of course, is the number 12 seed,

and they just beat SMU in the ACC Championship game last week.

This will be next Saturday on TNT at 4 o'clock at Daryl Stadium, of course, in Austin.

Texas, a lofty 11-point favorite in this game against the Tigers, the battle of the

Orange.

Trevor, why don't you start once again and tell us how Texas got here?

Yeah, I think Texas has been one of the more controversial teams of the season.

You know, like there's a lot of people to talk about, well, you know, Ohio State lost in Michigan that final week.

Notre Dame lost in Northern Illinois. I you hasn't beat anybody. I mean, Texas is right smack dab in the middle of that conversation, man. I really believe so.

So Texas started out their season 6 and 0, and it included in week two,

a really dominant victory over Michigan in the big house, 31 to 12.

And I think that could have been a lot worse.

I think Sark caught off the dogs in that one.

I do.

And then the week before the Georgia game, they dominated Oklahoma in the Red River.

Now, Oklahoma for the rest of the season really didn't impress that many people, but after

Texas beat them 34 to 3, that victory might have looked a little bit different in some people's

eyes after what Oklahoma did to Alabama.
