Texas is a damn good football team. And in my opinion, even though Sarkesian is an offensive guy,

the strength of the Longhorns is the defense, and their front seven is

nasty. But can they win at all this year with Quinn Uers at quarterback? It's possible, yes, we all know

that, but to me, it's not likely. But why? It's not that he isn't a high-level passer, because he is

when everything is perfect around him. It's not that Quinn can't a high-level passer because he is when everything is perfect around him it's not

that quinn can occasionally wiggle out of trouble because he has but in a tournament where they need

to win four games in a row against really good competition your quarterback has to be able to create

more times than not when the play breaks down or the rush starts to get to you.

And he cannot more times than not. I'm not saying you have to be Michael Vick, but the odds of

routinely having perfect protection and exact timing are low when the level of defenses you are

facing are this high. Now, to win a national championship in today's game, not only do you have to be

able to sometimes turn disaster into a minor problem at the position, you have to be able to turn

a bad play into a great play occasionally. And I don't think he possesses that ability. Add that

to the lack he is as a run threat and the probability of all the chips consistently falling into a perfect
