Summary

We dive into Georgia and South Carolina’s cold cases with investigative reporter Renetta DuBose, whose grandmother’s unsolved murder is the driving force behind her own passion to help solve the Southeast’s forgotten cases. Renetta also discusses what takes some cases—like the disappearance and murder of Gabby Petito—into the national news spotlight more than others, and how the structure of media itself affects what stories are told.
