You know, we had a bye week, and I told you guys how much I was looking forward to just sitting around watching college football on Saturday.

That was the plan,

but the best laid plans of mice and men often fail. Spent a lot of time on the phone,

texting, calling, reaching out to people answering questions, spend on time over to jeanspage.com message boards.

A lot to deal with, shall we say.

So I didn't get a chance to watch a lot of college football.

Watch more times than night, college football watch me talk on the telephone.

There was a big moment on this weekend, too.

Huge moment.

A historic moment.

That's right.

The Mississippi State Soccer team wins their first ever SEC tournament game 2 to 1 over Texas A&M.

They'll play today at 5 p.m. at Ashton Brosnham Park, Athletic Park there in Pensacola, Florida.

Two-one winners in overtime last night against Texas A&M.

So congratulations to our ladies. Let's don't let that moment be kind of washed affoot, shall we say, with what's happened.

Of course, Mississippi State Director of Athletics, John Cohen has now accepted a position over at

Auburn.

First order of business firing head football coach, Brun Harsen.

That's one way to make an impact right out of the gate.
