animal cognition. Anyway, so there's new research published in animal

cognition this week that found that cats recognize the goofy voice that their owners have for them.

Okay, this is wonderful because you always kind of hope it's true when I'm like

chonk come on chonk or it's like come on baby tiny cat like they all have their own voice I have so many voices in one day and I'm glad to know I'm not just doing it for myself

No, and you know what it was actually reassuring when I was reading a write-up of this research

that most cat owners do this.

We're not insane. We are collectively, but we're not like, none of us are outliers you know wait

what's Eleanor's voice oh I'm not doing it that's fine see that's fine no I I do

have like I made a parody James Taylor song, but I rewrote it to be about a very pretty kitty and I'm gonna throw.
