| 0:55.0 | So the S&P has always been quite vague about their membership size. |

| 1:05.0 | who have been commissioned by the S&P to run their leadership process. |
| 1:09.8 | And they revealed that they've been handed 78,000 voters to put in their voting system. |
| 1:15.8 | But from previous release figures, it was thought that there was more like 100,000 S&P members. |
| 1:21.8 | So this led to questions about who is actually voting, how many members are there are in the party. |
| 1:27.0 | So the candidates themselves asked for the figures and were reportedly told that they couldn't have them. |
| 1:32.6 | And this led to Kate Forbes and Ash Regan, basically writing an open letter to say that there needed to be transparency over the vote and the figures. |
| 1:41.4 | Kate Forbes went as far to say that there needed to be an independent auditor of the figures. |
| 1:45.4 | And then Humza Yusuf also joined in, although he privately asked for the figures. |
| 1:50.2 | And this led to further this week, the membership totals coming out. |
