Hello friends, happy Tuesday.

Welcome back to another coffee chat episode where we catch up on what's been going on behind the scenes and talk through all the things I am learning this week.

But first, today's rose bud and thorn my rose today is it is

windows open weather over here I'm talking 75 degrees. There's a crisp in the air and it is August. That's fun.

That's a fun little fluke week. I'm pretty thrilled about it over here. I'm not going to lie. I've got the incense going the windows open

No complaints from me on that front my bud is that this weekend I am looking forward to just

holding up making things in my kitchen and enjoying a good little be a treat as we round out summer and get ready for fall, which is crazy.

I know technically, listen, I know technically summer doesn't start until the end of September,

but I am, I just am a full belief that fall

is September, October, November, you're not going to convince me otherwise.

That is what we celebrate in our home.

So September is when it all begins and that's coming soon.

So I want to round out my summer bucket list.

I still have a couple of things I haven't done yet and one of those

and I also want to just get in all the beach reads. I can get in before it's time for

some fantasy and magical reading to come into play. Now my thorn is that I have been feeling bad a little bit about the things

that I love to do. I am just in a season of wanting to be home more, having a lot of like home-based hobbies,

I'm making a lot of our food from scratch, I'm reading a lot, I'm painting, I'm knitting, and that's not been

me most of my life. I have usually in my life been someone who would leave really early in the

morning, leave my house, and then come home when it's time to go to bed and be gone most of the day just gallivanting around and I will say like the

pandemic really changed that for me we've talked about that a decent amount that shifted things for me
