0:20.7

It's a good question.

0:24.0

Doon, do, do, do, do, do, do.

0:27.8

Boom, boom.

0:29.0

How about the course?

0:30.4

Oh, how about a course on cocktail piano?

0:34.1

What is cocktail piano?

0:35.1

Well, we may not be able to do this right now, Adam, because we both

0:38.5

are abstaining from cocktails as a word. This officially jumps us back to our health and wellness.

0:44.0

I should have mentioned that because that's been a big part of my... I've been drinking the last

0:47.5

cup. I'm going on two weeks now. You're going on two years, right? Seven months. How you feel?

0:52.6

But who's counting?

0:54.5

Same.

0:55.1

Same.

0:52.7

No, no, no. I feel, well, you know what it is? It wasn't as hard as I thought to stop drinking. And I'm not committing to stopping drinking forever, but I did want to take a break. Yeah. So I don't know if this was your experience, but it wasn't as hard to stop as I thought it was and I don't feel as much better as I was hoping to.

0:53.4

So... That's a good sign, I think.

0:54.6

Yeah.

0:54.8

I mean, it's kind of a... Just of your general well-being. Yeah, yeah. So, okay, so all jokes aside, cocktail piano, I guess you don't have to be drinking to do that. I think what comes to mind back in Oregon in the day, 30 years, you little book called How to dress up naked music that's funny Adam how would you define cocktail piano because I want to see maybe I'm a little bit off but let's get sort of what this is first I can't I don't even know if I can do it, man. I'm just too hip. I don't know. So is cocktail piano not hip? It's not. I wouldn't say that it's hip. Interesting, because I was going to, okay. Maybe it is hip. I don't know. I mean, can it be hip. Yeah, I know oftentimes it's not. Do people listen to piano when they have cocktails anymore? Well, that's the thing. I'm like, is there a connotation with cocktail piano that it has to be in the background so you can't do anything jarring or interesting? I don't know. That's why I'm asking me. I mean, I know I've played cocktail parties before, but I'm just playing what I play. Did you get called back to get played again? I think so. Oh, then you're good at it. You're an expert, see? I don't know. I don't know. I would think you would just want to work on your solo piano style that you, like who, Micah, who are you listening to that's a cocktail pianist that you want to, you know what I mean? Right. I mean okay because wouldn't you be better just listening to

2:36.7

Bill Evans play solo piano and then copying that right I mean like is Bill Evans the greatest

2:41.8
