And we're doing this on Wednesday morning and probably 20 minutes or so before we came on.

Got the latest big coaching carousel domino, Jeff Brom, leaving Purdue to go back to his hometown, Louisville, where there is an opening, because of what I consider to be one

of the more bizarre twists of the coaching carousel so far, Scott Satterfield leaving Louisville

for Cincinnati, not so much that he left, because he isn't really wanted there, that

Cincinnati picked him.

But Bruce, yeah, let's start with the second part of that.

Of all the coaches, why is Cincinnati hiring Scott Satterfield,

who is basically a seven and five coach in the ACC?

I think Scott Satterfield is a better coach than that.

And if you look, if they had hired him away from, you know, like from App State where he was when I think he won like 42 games in his last four years there.

And that's not that far away.

Honestly, it's not like you're hiring a Pac-12 guy to go go to Cincinnati i don't think that would have been a stretch um you know at louisville in four

years he was basically a 500 coach and he's 25 and 24 yeah that's the problem um i think he's a

really good coach i think i think at louis, he got off to a really good start,

taken over a bad situation from Bobby Petrino.

And then it came out that he was listening to South Carolina for the coaching search,

and that set people off.

And I really feel like at that point, things got sideways in a hurry.

And, you know, it was only a matter of time before he was going to either leave or they were going to fire him.

I thought they were going to fire him at midseason after they lost to BC.

He won enough games there to get to seven wins.
