As always, I am your host, Mike Milner, and today's episode of The Coach's Compass.

I'm going to be a little short to the point today, mainly because I woke up yesterday with a nasty freaking cold.

I just have to say, when you get like a legit cold, it's the worst.

Because there's no freaking cure, and I have to state my beef with technology.

How do we have advancements in like everything else?

But the common cold still baffles us and alludes us.

I just don't get it.

It can't be that difficult to come up with a quick cure.

I get it really bad.

I'm one of those man cold people where,

well, I don't like sulk and make it seem like the end of the world.

I just, my body just like overreacts and it's gross. I won't even get into details.

But I'll just say, I think I went through two full boxes of tissues yesterday and feeling

a little bit better. I actually was still able to play tennis and sweat it out

and I find that that's always helpful, but it's just annoying, especially because I have travel

coming up. That's probably related where because I have so much that I need to get done ahead of

travel, I am on overdrive and stressing about getting things done and putting

more and more stuff on my plate and then just having tight deadlines. It's probably related.

And then I've been on a stretch of playing more tennis and working out and softball and not really having any recovery days.
