definitely like realized as part of like a you know big family big network of friends and it and

yeah new york was in his blood for sure yeah and i'll let's say my first ball you got remember too

mike came as uh we were junior so mike came as a transfer then when coach hennar came to georgetown

then mike came a year later and so we had heard about him for a whole year that he was coming the next year.

And I think Coach Hennar had talked it up quite a bit about how serious this guy was,

very, very business, very serious all the time.

And so I would say that.

My first impressions did align with that until I got to know you more.

So I'm behind that.

Coach Smith, I was talking to Coach Mill before he hopped on this recording before you joined

the recording.

And I was asking him about, you know, if there were any athletes he's coached over the

years who he could pinpoint as, you know, potentially getting into the coaching realm one day

and being very good at it.

I'm curious for you guys on easy rounds, warming up for workouts. Was there ever a conversation between the two of you

or with Henner of like coaching is my calling, I think I want to get into this? Was there

like a light bulb moment with each other?

I think one of the things we had in common when we were young athletes is that we were

very interested in, we were students of the things we had in common when we were young athletes is that we were very interested in.

We were students of the sport. We were constantly talking to our coach in the office, bouncing ideas off of them,

learning why we're doing what we're doing. But we also privately, you know, together, I think, had recognized that our coaches had made huge impacts in our lives.

And that would be the most special thing is that whether it was coaching or another profession to find yourself into work that could make big impacts into other people's lives.
