We are still waiting for the Q1 delivery and production report.

There's not a whole lot of news out there today in lieu of that,

as people, I think, eagerly anticipate those numbers. So we'll keep it pretty brief today.

Tesla stock was down a little bit today 1.14% to $285.88

this compared to the NASDAQ up 0.25%.

The first thing I wanted to talk about today,

which was something that I was considering talking about on yesterday's episode,

is an example of just really poor journalism, I think, by CNN.

Yesterday, they posted an article with a headline of quote

get ready for a big drop in Tesla sales and quote I'm just going to read the first

few sentences of the article straight from the top, Tesla is probably about to report the largest drop in auto sales in the company's history.

That's not a shock.

Tesla faced some special circumstances last quarter, but it's still a concern. Tesla needs to keep its

sales pace high to pay down its sizable debts. Tesla will report first-quarter

sales and production figures Tuesday and Wall Street analysts expect them to be

sharply lower than the 90,700 cars that the company

sold and delivered to customers last quarter.

Analysts predict Tesla delivered just over 50,000 cars over the last three months.
