I remember my counselor saying to me,

you know what happens to Navy SEALs that never turn that part of their brain

back on, they're the people that end up in shooting somebody out of road rage at a

intersection because there's a reality to compassion and joy and anger and sadness that if you never turn that part of

your brain back on to feel those things you become very unhealthy and it will come out some way.

And if there's one plea, if you're that one and you're listening and you're like,

I've been numb for a long time, and I would say this specifically to leaders because we've been there. I mean part of

that season I just mentioned Zach was transitioning our church he had been leading so

hard and so long they was completely burnt out that's why he was in depression.

So we get leadership and I would just say if you have to you and you've been there for so long

I would just say let me motivate you out of your friendships, your children, your grandchildren.

It does come out.

I mean, we all know the cranky granddad that nobody wants to go visit.

We all know them. Like, that's a reality. Why? Because they never dealt with their interior life. because they were

interior life and what they were feeling and they stuffed it and it comes out
