My name is Carrie Newhoff, and I hope our time together today helps you lead like never before.

And you know one thing we haven't done in almost three years of the podcast is have a

worship leader on I don't think that has happened when I look back over the

archive so it is about time and I can think of nobody better than Todd Fields to have on the

podcast. He's been leading worship at North Point for over 20 years and now does a

lot of coaching of worship leaders all over the country and it super

super connected and you know if you think about it the worship leader position

is something that impacts all of us if you ever go to church you're going to sing

and that is impacted if you're a lead

pastor one of the key relationships you have is with the people who are on the

platform with you and then if you are a worship leader and there's a lot of

you listening you're gonna learn a lot of you listening, you're going to learn a lot.

Plus, how many churches haven't fought some kind of a music battle, right?

And so Todd's kind of lived through it all.
