Well, you know what, we're coming up on the third anniversary

of the podcast next week.

We got a big giveaway I'm going to tell you

about in just a second. But today's guest reminds me of why I'm so glad we started this thing.

And I was at a conference last fall and I heard a presentation for the first time ever on big data and the church.

Like just you know there's all kinds of data because you know the internet and the way we

the way life is these days out there and big companies are using it and the church generally isn't except for Matt Engel and a couple of other people and after he presented at the conference I saw him walking out of the event I was sitting down on the lawn

having lunch I'm like hey do you want to come down and sit down with me and have a conversation so we

talked and it was even more fascinating than his talk his talk was great and so I said would you be a

podcast yes so here we are and I'm gonna sit down and have like this is gonna blow

your mind conversation about number one what big data is number two how much data there is on you it's going to get

creepy I'm warning you okay some of you gonna like delete yourself off the

internet and go move to a mountain but hey this is is just the world we live in. And then can you use
