Well, hey everybody, and welcome to episode number 110 of the podcast.

My name is Carrie Newhoff and I hope our time together today helps you lead like never before.

Well today a conversation that literally hundreds of you have asked me for and I have been excited about

for a long time and probably one of the most difficult to schedule episodes of

the podcast we've ever had to do in terms of recording it. But I got together with Jeff Henderson

who is lead pastor at Goinette Church as well as Jeff Brody from

Canexas Church where I've served for the last, since we started it nine years ago.

And we talked about a transition that I made and Jeff made a year ago,

where I stepped out for the very first time in my church leadership life out of the lead pastor

seat into a founding and teaching pastor role at Canexas Church and Jeff Brody stepped up and

into the lead pastor role at Connexis.

Now, I'm not going to tell you a whole lot more than that

because we unpacked this in the course of the interview.

And man, I gotta tell you, this was a really exciting move for a number of different reasons.

First of all, it's exciting in the rearview mirror, it's a little bit scary in the front.

You know, when you've only ever been a lead pastor, you know, what's it like? Can you stay at the same church that you were a part of
