Amazon and Google are thundering over Microsoft's cloud rules.

Amazon and Google have called out Microsoft's cloud computing practices, alleging that the

tech giant is restricting customer options. Cloud storage, that's where you pay to store files and data on remote servers rather than the devices themselves,

are worth up to $90 billion globally.

The sector is currently being investigated by the UK's competition watchdog over whether it's

competitive enough to provide value to consumers. Nicky Stewart has worked in the

industry and as a former head of IT strategy in the government.

Effectively what Microsoft has been doing and is doing. in the services if Microsoft licenses are deployed on a competitors cloud platform.

It means that ultimately cloud customers may be driven to Microsoft as opposed to a more appropriate

solution for them simply because other things become far too expensive

and cloud is big money Microsoft software is ubiquitous we all know that say there is the potential here for them to get an unreasonably

huge share of what is a huge market.

It's very interesting to see that competitors are now calling Microsoft out in this way.

That was Nicky Stewart and in response Microsoft has accused Amazon of funding a third party group pushing for a regulatory intervention and says that major players in

cloud computing already have the resources to compete without the UK watchdog

getting involved. Okay let's do the numbers. In October new orders for German industry took a hit dropping by
