Today, we're focusing on this reality that through relationships and friendships

we can experience a nearness and a closeness to God that is unique.

The scripture declares where two or more are gathered in his name, he's there.

Not to say that he's not there when we're alone, but it is to say that he is there

when we get together.

So today, I want to guide you through some prayers for friendships and relationships.

And then at the end of this guided prayer, invite you to connect with a friend, new friend, old friend, at some point today, and experience the unique sense of God when we spend time together talking about him,

singing about him,

or simply thinking about him.

As we continue,

I wonder friendship is a fickle thing for you.

I know it can be for me.

It can be rewarding, challenging, fulfilling, painful.

I wonder if there is a letting go that needs to happen for you or for me

when it comes to our friendships.

Do you need to forgive a friend?

Do you need to release a friend? Do you need to release a friend?

Do you need to let go of a friendship?
