Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. I hope you are ready to get your

mind aligned with the truth of God. Welcome, it's time for us to hear God's Word, believe

God's Word today, and act in accordance with what we've learned. Are you ready? Let's

get going for the day. Today we're looking at Acts chapter 16, verse number 6, and I have

to tell you right from the outset. There are some strange instructions that we see communicated

in this passage. It's something that kind of makes our mind go tilt for a moment. We're

trying to figure out what it is that God is doing and why would he say what he's saying.

We're going to read about it in just a moment. But before we go there, I want to ask any of

into Acts chapter 16. We're looking at verse number 6, and that's all we're going to look

at today. It's one verse because it's got some very interesting questions that it draws

out for us to consider. It says, and they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia.

Having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia, right there is where

the brakes go on for me because my mind immediately starts to ask, well, why couldn't they take

the word of God into Asia? Didn't Asia need the word of God just like these other regions?

What was it about Asia? What was God doing? And you know, we're not given the answers.

To me, these are strange instructions. Paul and his team are missionaries. They just

care about teaching the word of God to new people, to people who need to hear it, and those

in Asia certainly would qualify. But it says they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to
