In the book of Luke, chapter 8, we read the story of Jesus healing a woman.

She had suffered from uncontrollable bleeding for 12 years.

The woman approached Jesus, but was pushed away by the large crowd trying to get close

to Jehovah Rafa, the Lord who heals.

She was desperate for healing, and in one last attempt, she lurched forward into the crowd,

but was only able to touch the hymn of his prayer shawl.

But at that moment, Jesus stopped, turned around and asked, who was it that touched me?

She came forward, trembling, falling before him, and declared in the presence of all the

people why she had touched him, and how she had immediately been healed, and he said

to her, daughter, your faith has made you well, so go now in peace.

Have you ever looked at someone suffering and not seen them?

Have you ever listened to the cries of someone in need and not heard them?

Oh, if we could only see with the eyes of Jesus, if we could only hear with his ears, if

we could only hold with his arms.
