The combination of two different Bible verses had a profound impact on my life starting

several years ago.

First in Colossians 1, it says, for by him were all things created, that are in heaven and

that are in earth.

And then in Ephesians 2, it says, for it is by grace you have been saved through faith.

So everything I have is from God, including the faith that I have in his Son for my salvation.

Well, is there some aspect of your relationship with God that you still take credit for?

Well, I pray this meditation from Matthew chapter 8 will help you be more mindful of God's

precious gift of faith, aware that even the trust that you have in Christ is a gift from

the Heavenly Father, to help you move from a tired life to a newfound faith.

So allow yourself for now to become acutely aware, aware of your surroundings, aware of

even your breathing, even aware of your eyes beginning to close and most certainly, becoming

aware of the faith offered to you by the Holy Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

As you discover a fresh faith and new sight in these quieting moments, listen and join in this

responsive prayer from Ephesians chapter 2. And as I lead us, respond, Lord God, give me your

amazing supernatural faith. May the Lord bless the hearing and reading of his word.
