Emerson, who spent 20 years

in the special operations community, including time with a special mission unit where specialized

skills were developed and implemented in support of U.S. government operations in hostile environments.

Clint is the founder of a company called Escape the Wolf, which focuses on workplace violence

prevention and response, along with crisis management for small as well as large global companies.

He's the author of several books, including the bestseller, 100 Deadly Skills.

His latest book is called The Right Kind of Crazy, My Life as a Navy SEAL, Covert Operative, and Boy Scout

from Hell. Clint, thank you so much for joining us. We can hardly wait to talk to you.

Hey, thank you for having me. That was a great intro. God. I don't even know. I don't even know

where to begin. You've done so many different things.

So tell us how you became a Navy SEAL. I did meet a seal in an airport overseas when I was

traveling abroad. I was probably 10 years old. And he had a tattoo that was, you know, curious to me. And I asked him, hey, what is that? He's like,

it's a trident. I'm like, well, what's a trident? It's a symbol, kid. Okay, well,

what's the symbol of? And so then he finally explained to me the whole Navy SEAL world. So at that

point, you know, I always wanted to be a ninja. And then that day, a switch to,

okay, I want to be a Navy seal now. And the beauty of that is that when you kill people as a ninja,

it's called murder. But when you kill people as a seal, it's called heroic. So, you know, as long as you pick the right side of the line,
