The water This is Hell.

Live from a world with a shortage of hope and a surplus of despair, this is hell.

And today's opening tagline was inspired by today's inspiring guest, who, despite the

seemingly insurmountable challenges in their activism, against the greatest existential

threat all of us face at this moment in history, possibly the greatest threat in all

of our history,

that person still has hope.

Go figure.

That threat, as you may have guessed, is climate change, global warming, extreme weather,

whatever you want to call the reality that surrounds us, a reality that is still denied by so many.

Although many deniers have shifted to accepting reality, but in their evolving world, while accepting climate change science to some degree,

they still believe there's no real rush to do anything about climate change. Not yet. And it's always

not yet. Climate change, as our guest today eloquently argues, is not just about the science of a

heating planet. Climate change is about much, much more. That's why climate change activism is about more than climate change. Climate change is about much, much more.

That's why climate change activism is about more than climate change.

Climate change is the driving force fueling all of our global conflicts.
