So for me, this has become a primary issue because if we don't have free speech, then we can't

take the actions we need to protect people from addiction and homelessness, take actions

to protect the natural environment, also to protect our prosperity.

We can't have a functioning democracy or free markets without free speech.

But even more fundamentally than that, we can't be fully human.

Right.

You know, like your, my view is that if you don't have freedom of speech, then you're not,

you're not truly a human being.

You have to be able to express your ideas, however wrong and stupid they might be.

And let's face it, half the time, we are wrong and we don't know we're wrong if we can't talk about.
